Received my haul today and as usual all stunning. Need your advice on one ring!

This is where I want your opinions please. Lovely ring but it had two marks on the brushed silver. I only paid £4 - Don't know what to do? Send it back for a replacement - will cost more than the ring! Help!! I probably won't wear if I keep it!

Have been on my wish list ever since Anne C got hers (from coloured rocks). Love it Love it Love it!! The diamonds are just amazing. Would have made this ring perfect if there was a bit more gold making the band slightly wider!

I would send the ring back for a replacement, but, i'd send it recorded delivery at a cost of about £1 as its silly to pay nearly a fiver to post a £4 ring.

As for the ring, I'd speak to Rocks before sending it back cos it's going to cost them more to send you another, refund your P&P etc. Have a word with them hun before you do anything. By the way, are the bits you're referring to the small dull patches you can see on the top left and bottom left silver bit? Have you got a silver cleaning cloth because it could just be discolouration.

Thanks Meeshoo. It does not look like discolouration and am a bit scared to clean it as when cleaning my previous brushed silver ring I managed to take the brushed silver out!

I will e-mail them and see what they say. The marks are very visible IRL. It could be that the silver is coming through instead of brushed!

Glad I tempted you into the diamonds, ain't they great? I got mine back from Regency today - I've had them for months without being able to wear them! Tiny fingers are a pain...
You've chosen the marcasite ring that is my absolute favourite in the range, how I wish it would size down, I adore the shape - it looks much bigger on your hand than I expected, I am soooo jealous!
All the pearls are definitely on my wish list for the near future, they look good on you - as everything does!
Brushed silver is easily marked I think, I'd imagine that even if you get an unblemished replacement there's a good chance it won't reach old age without acquiring similar marks. I certainly wouldn't buy any more, but as you say, it will cost nearly as much to return as the ring was. If you don't want a replacement, and you don't think you'll wear it, why not donate it to a charity shop? Just a thought.

Fantastic CS - katherine has e-mailed me and have asked me to return the ring via RM recorded delivery and they will replace it and refund the postage (after reading this thread).
