He uses his hands to rub products like tomato sauce, mustard and even false tan into the carpet. He also uses his hands on laminate floor to agitate the heavy crayon marks after spraying them with the product so personally I don't think it's unreasonable for him to wear gloves.

Actually I have just noticed Charlie selling Pristine Waterless Wax and he dosen't have gloves on but is rubbing tar onto a car bonnet with his bare hands.

Maybe tar dosen't stain your hands like mustard and false tan?
 
that Charlie seems like a jack of all trades, I cannot put it on bid without seeing him as the resident expert on something.

though I must point out, I don't think he does anything 'wrong' as such.

I think he is probably a professional 'demonstrator', a bit like the people you see showing all kinds of products in those infomercials. I guess he just shows whatever product they need him to but he seems to specialise in DIY/Household Products. I would guess he also does shows like the Ideal Home Exhibition.

He seems a nice enough chap.
