Just found what it means on the Q website

'As Is' products are products which are not in their original manufactured condition or packaging. Our 'As Is' products may be returns from other customers, or come from discounted ranges. On occasion we will repackage 'As Is' products.


A product's original manufacturer warranty no longer applies when it becomes an 'As Is' product.


Our standard customer returns policy continues to apply to all 'As Is' products.

Thanks for the info. I don't know if it's worth taking a chance on any of these items then

Not for me I prefer brand new,thanks for telling us though.

Even Apple refurbished items are like brand new -with no marks or scratches and have 12 months warranty.
 
If you compare the "As Is" prices to those in John Lewis you'll see that the QVC original price is WAY more so the saving is not as great as they are making out.

Only £20 difference for a brand new, same model and spec but with 3 years warranty!

QVC are having a laugh with those prices and conditions!

ETA - P&P is £9.95 on Q.... Free from John Lewis which makes it just over £10 difference between brand new and used.... Do they think we're idiots?
