Heard him say today when selling the Actifry, "Nothing wrong with Argos, you want something cheap and cheerful, they're great". Nice try at a sly dig there, but ffs, Argos sell more quality items on one page than Ideal World ever have in 12+ years of broadcasting!!!!!

Argos sell a lot of the same products as Ideal World...Actify, Karcher, cheap Android Tablets...

Tbf Argos shopping channel didn't last long did it , ideal world is still there 13yrs later, but the sly dig wasn't needed .

Yes but the Argos stores......... the failure of the Argos channel is most likely that it wasn't needed, people want an Argos item they go to the store, order online, browse online, browse the catalogue, not that many of us sit at home and watch selly-telly, usually its more interesting things like films, soaps, news, documentaries...
