It seems to have spread like a rash, either in multiple or single yeah, they are all at it.

We have breathy yeahs (Flinty and Links of London woman)
Yeah, amazing (Jackie) etc etc. Is this a London thing? I find it annoying!
 
I do hope so. The word is 'yes' and it has an 's' on the end which should be pronounced. 'Yeah' is just lazy and annoying.
 
Rapidly repeating "yes" three times would sound very impatient. They should be trained along the lines of the rules of "Just A Minute": No hesitation, repetition, or deviation. Image how much better their presentation would be if they didn't rely on annoying sound bites, clichés and irrelevant anecdotes!
 
They'd be like beached fish. The mouths would flap but no sound would they make - bring it on.
