No wonder they are not sending any more programme timetables, what an absolute turn off. I know they are there to make money not to entertain us, but there should be a law against this. I don't think about christmas till December, and even that is way to early for me!

Haven't watched for weeks now, no products at all that I would want in my wildest dreams.

Well its lovely and warm here and Qvc are selling Xmas items , absolutely stupid. And its the same old tat they bring out every year to make matters worse

I had an email about it this morning. I deleted it, I have my daughter's birthday and wedding anniversary next month. Won't start Christmas shopping until about November. I do have a box on the go where I have collected a few bargains or parts of TSV's for gifts. That's always handy.

Whats wrong with enjoying each season as it comes? On Q its either Summer or Christmas, Spring and Autumn don't seem to exist any longer. Personally I love Spring and Autumn as I do Summer - I am just not too keen on the cold of Winter.

They haven't dropped on too well with this weather wise, same as Christmas in July day.. it was warm and sunny that day too.
Quite funny really.

A complete turn off for me I can't even have it on as background noise. Some people must like this as they wouldn't do it? The hype of Christmas is early enough mid Dec.& even then too early for me! I love christmas but NOT this commercial brainwashing which I am sure must lure some into spending much more than they should---all this Easy pay it still has to be paid.

I adore Christmas and winter, in fact, I detest this sunny weather and 2 weeks a year is a long enough summer for me. BUT, I am pi**ed off with QVC and other culprits that bombard us with their tat from January until about the 22nd December - when they can't get the tat to you in time for the 25th. They are a bunch of assh*les, I may send them a polite email expressing my dislike of them flogging Christmas to death all year long.

I understand that I am an oddball viking loving the winter so much but that's me! My Mama doesn't understand me either, she went from Sweden to Provence to escape the winters. She wants us to visit every summer and whilst I love seeing my parents I could do without the sunshine, I burn no matter what cream I use.

Inge xx

I agree with most of what's already been said. I think this commercialism ruins what Christmas should be about. I wouldn't buy any of the tat they flog on Q anyway as most of it is overpriced rubbish.

Christmas ???? I haven`t even had my holidays yet !!
I must admit that throughout the year whenever large stores such as Debenhams have their sales I do pick up the odd item, usually jewellery and stash it away for birthday gifts or Christmas but I cetainly don`t want to see a whole day on TV dedicated to it in July or August.

Switched on and saw SB with his silly christmas hat on enough to put me of xmas for life .

They sneaked this one in too it seems as I didn't know about it until it was happening. I've been a QVC customer for years, almost since they started and this is the first time I can recall not putting them on at all for over a day. The "new" channels are just as bad with their reels of repeats. It is boredom personified and the other channels are like groundhog day, so how are they going to keep their customers. There are no products of interest at all, or else it's all too overpriced. They spoiled Christmas for me as far as I'm concerned.

No, I haven't had my summer holidays yet either!

Absolutely ridiculous

Who knows, if they keep shunting it earlier & earlier, they'll end up so ahead of themselves that they'll be doing it in December, just in time for the Christmas before they meant.

if you'd all like to queue up to shout at me.......here goes.
Really shocked by a lot of the attitudes on this thread tbh! Firstly, just because an individual doesn't like Christmas coming into shops/view until November or December, really doesn't mean there aren't others out there with exactly the opposite opinion. As an example, I was beaming today when i saw Christmas stuff coming into some local shops, I'm sure there are plenty more out there like myself. As for QVC ruining Christmas as one poster commented, crikey, you have access to a remote control? an off button on your television? It's not actually compulsory to watch a shopping channel last time I checked. And as for QVC helping people to 'forget the true meaning of Christmas', where to start....... Christmas and the 'story' of the birth of jesus is a faith, not a fact. Christmas was initially a Pagan festival and Christianity has hopped on and stolen that one. Also, if you ask any honest Christian, they will all admit that the maths don't add up and jesus, if he ever indeed existed, would have been born about October or end of September. Really, leave QVC alone, if you dislike the programming turn off, its a shopping channel and in promoting Christmas at this particular time of year, is not doing anything and many many other high Street stores are currently doing.

Nothing ruins Christmas (other winter festivals are available) like my father-out-law graphically describing radiotherapy of his prostate! Trust me!

Most of the stuff is just Pound Shop crap. Christmas comes after Advent in our house. I'm certainly not thinking about Christmas until December.

Have to agree with this although I love, love, love Christmas, the run-up, the actual day and the sales afterwards - I am so disappointed at what the Q are offering - we've seen it all before. Surely the buyers can do a bit more research to bring us new, unusual and exciting products for Christmas - come on buyers, earn your money!
