I suspect the truth is closer to sack the CEO - I'm convinced that on these QVC in-house brands, QVC UK gets told by QVC USA that they WILL take a quantity of the same. It's the CEO that needs to have the balls to say that British and US tastes are not the same and that some TSVs do not travel well across the Atlantic.
