Saw some of the Carole Hochman show. Presenters and guests all going on about how you can "lounge" in the clothes. Unless you are ill or very well off, just who do they think has the time to "lounge around"? I certainly don't and neither do any of my friends and relatives especially those with children. Mind you, JF probably lounges. She won't be using her time cooking and eating and I can imagine her lounging around.

I lounge... in the winter I get in from work about 18:00 and get straight into my PJs... I love it.

l really liked the TSV and would have loved it in the blue and the red, but there's no way l could justify £70 for outfits I'm not going to go outside the door in. l buy my PJs from Tesco and Sainsbury - and yes, l lounge in them!

I'm a fan of George at Asda... great cheap and cheerful stuff and they have got some great lounge wear / PJs.

Oh l SO wish we had Asda nearby, l love Asda. They wanted to build one in our area, and the residents wanted it, but the council got all sniffy - said Asda was too downmarket and refused planning permission. Invited Sainsbury instead. Result? A huge, usually half-empty Sainsbury store. The nearest Asda's an hour's drive away

That is what the all in one things most people in the other thread and rave about are for.

I like the idea of those, and they look really snuggly, but in the winter the last thing I want to do is have to undress when I go to the loo!

You can always buy online... TBH, if your nearest Asda is a big one with a good George selection then it's worth the trip.

Their denim jeggings and 'magic' jeans are fantastic and they have some great jumpers in at the moment too.

Here're some of their fun PJs:

I buy their cheap pretend patent pumps for my train commute as I've lost count of the expensive shoes I've ruined by stubbing them on uneven pavements or catching them on something.

I'm a big fan.

I am a lounger!!

Curtains closed and pj's on as soon as possible in the dark evenings......love to be cosy and warm!!

Whilst I am a lounger it is never in anything like PJs which I dont even wear in bed. Jeans and T/ sweat shirt as soon as I come home.

My mum used to do all her housework etc in her dressing gown and only then got dressed. This always bugged me so I think that is why I never sit around in a dressing gown unless I was really poorly.

I am happy to say I have been in my nightdress all day and may do the same tomorrow.

Me too, i am either in my work uniform or my nightie. I only get dressed if I am going out and I am not a great socialiser, some may describe me as anti-social and I am okay with that LOL

i watched Ruby wax on daybreak a couple of month ago or so and she was being very honest about her breakdown she had suffered...something rang true about the pace of life ...she said ..people almost congratulate you that you've had a "heart attack".....so a i bit of lounging has to be good ...physically and mentally ......

I'm quite capable of lounging around for hours on end, but I can't do the PJ or onesie thing, even though I really quite like the idea of it. In the morning I get up, shower and get dressed, and only get undressed again at bedtime.

I couldn't sit around all day in nightwear would feel very strange to me.

What happens when someone knocks at the door ?
