"Under £20 delivered" £11.99 for the item £7.99 well yes that is a whopping 2p under £20 but what about the £1.53 for the phone call? Sure the ASA said you had to include that.

It's almost as if you can buy the product by going on the website shown on-screen and not have to pay the £1.58...

You can't with deals (thats currently on the live auction) that require you to make a choice such as with sizes (bed spreads... clothes etc).

On a side note, Mike seems to drift into his imaginary story telling/situations sooooooooo much now. I do find them amusing sometimes but I find it a bit weird how often he does it & has conversations with himself lol.

Hardly. If this was two friends talking in a pub I would agree with you but this is a sale of goods where all claims have to be exactly right and what he said was not exaclty right.

And of course I must have counted a hundred times when Me-Mike Mason says "and if you want to save the price of the call go on the website" as Mr M says you have to phone to tell there is a choice to be made and I have just taken a screenshot of Bid, please tell me where is this website url on-screen you speak of?

hmmm, more porky pies from Mr Mason?
selling curtains tonight he stated that he had to have darkness in the bedroom and didn't even have the TV on and said he doesn't watch TV in bed
the next item was a throw, he stated that he was cold last night and could have done with a throw, he then said that last night he got into bed and had to unwind after work so he watched some TV
he stopped quite abruptly so perhaps he realised he was being caught out with a blatant lie!

Are you suggesting that Mike Mason's stories might not be true?

If so I take exception to that, it's his openness and matter of fact attitude that attracts me to him and encourages me to watch. Personally I find his candour and wit refreshing.

Some people will find fault for the sake of it and that saddens me, I strongly support his good work.

more lies...
tonight Mike was selling a twin set of BT phones and as the price went lower he said 'I'm going this low coz I've been told to get rid of everything to make way for the christmas stock'......hmmm I think the company probably work and plan more than 4 weeks ahead or 3 and a bit weeks if you want it delivered in time!
Mike, your lies will always find you out, you're just told to flog cheap tat, that's all your job is.
Flogging tat on selly tell and telling lies, his mum must be so proud!

The crap comes from the top, I'm sure of it. I don't understand this nonsense Christmas Clearout that has been running for a while. They say they have to clear £5million of stock before Christmas but surely they must sell far more than that. QVC did a TSV the other week that I bought and we worked out that in 24 hours they raked in well over £3million for that item alone.

I know QVC are miles bigger than Bid but even so they must sell much more than that.

Most warehouses work on a "Just in Time" system.
As the name suggests, they don't work weeks ahead into the future, they work days ahead, sometimes hours ahead, by design.

While I'm not doubting that Mike spouts some total bollocks, "we need to clear the warehouse now" isn't unrealistic.

I sometimes watch Mike just for the entertainment factor, it's certainly better than the drivel such as Xfactor and Soaps on offer elsewhere. I'd never buy anything from any of the channel's of course, 7.99 P&P £1.53 to call plus a price higher than Amazon is selling 9 times out of 10, for free postage.

Only time ive ever seen a genuine bargin on the selly telly shows, was bid selling a CK jumper for £35 when it was actually £60 on Amazon.

Yeah always amusing hearing what else Mike is an expert in, whenever any item at all comes up to flog.
