What we really need to know about this guy is

Can he hear? - all the complaints
Can he see? - all the dross being sold

Will he do anything?

Or is he like the last one, so kind caring and considerate of our (the most important Customer) needs & wants:33:

Based on previous jobs.

No to the first.
Yes to the second.
No the the third.
Yes to the last.

Could he be any worse than Fryatt? Heaven forbid he is. 1st thing I'd want him to do is get rid of all the old flogged to death hours/days/deals. Such as craft - SW has her own channel, so she can beggar off there for good and Flea flots which have become a joke. Is there any need for a 4 day deal on anything? I'd like to see a lot more variety in what they sell, not the tired old regulars. Also, a clean out of presenter - SW, and that Sth African girl who just prattles on at a rate of knots. And bring back Carla. One last thing, get Customer Services working, and listen to viewers, read this Forum !

I agree with all the above but especially about getting rid of the South African presenter (Joanne?).

It is going to take more than a new "Man" at the top to get Ideal World back on track, For the past year you have been able to count their product range on both hands and feet, that's if your being kind. BUT not only do they need to give the product range a good kick up the b**kside , they need to totally rethink their ideas on customer service. Can ONE man do all this I think NOT.:31::31:
I dont think that you can shoot the messenger ie the presenters they are trying to sell the unsellable in my opinion.

I just looked at todays tv guide and it's reached the point where IW is almost a parody of itself, we have endless pocket surfers, sat navs, car care and something I assume is a lawn mower......over and over and over again.
