Vitamix - now repaired

My Vitamix jug developed some small fracture cracks which could only be seen on close examination so I called Vitamix and they sent a courier to collect it. Was only away a few days and I have a new jug. They changed the drive socket as well. The jug used to move a little on the base when I switched it on, this no longer happens. I googled why the drive socket would wear and it said that removing the jug from the base before it had stopped spinning could be a prob/lem or else tilting the jug whilst the motor is on. Don't remember doing any of these things. Anyway it is repaired
