New year presents

Not satisfied with having us buy Christmas gifts to all and sundry, Craig is now suggesting we buy Eek as a New year gift.

Then he suggested Valentine's Day .

Soon they will have us "gift" just because it is Wednesday.

Craig now keeps saying it is the eve of Christmas eve.

Does anyone else use this term. He is correct but it seem an odd way of saying it, after all Sunday was the eve of the eve of the eve of Christmas eve. Where do you stop.

I knew we were done for, when they brought in school proms. America coughs, and we catch a cold. We did exist before the US, incidentally!
