From the couple of links I was able to see a picture they did look lovely. One to keep an eye on methinks.

Yes, hard earned and spend how YOU like. As our own dear Ingrid is so fond of saying it is only a ????? per day.
I prefer the Ralph R one of price per wear, or price per "I just love this". beauty items, bought every couple if months come to much more.

No pockets in a shroud!

Very true the both of you, I kind of look at the price per item and like a bargain.

The big thing is to buy what you feel is worth it for your lifestyle and taste.

I would spend loads on food, jewellery and bags but never on beauty, hair, mobiles.

The very thought of 500 squid on a phone (which is updated constantly) just leaves me cold.

I spend mostly on beauty and food supplements (outside of QVC), beauty I don't really need any more but can't refuse a good TSV. Thanks goodness it's just a couple of brands that I buy from.

Such a pity as they were nice.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much left that isn't produced in similar circumstances.

I love bags and wouldn`t hesitate to pay Modalu or LG prices for one but if I was buying a £5.99 bag from Primark I`d be a fool to expect it to be made anywhere but in a Chinese or Indian sweatshop. When I`m paying upwards of £200 I expect the ethics as well as the quality of the bag to be worth the cost. There ARE still UK manufacturers of good quality leather bags. I`ve had bags from Jane Hopkinson, and when they say hand made in the UK, they really are, by her, her daughter and her family, in a small local business and to be honest her bags are more expensive than Modalu and some LG bags but they`re custom made and not only will the bag last a lifetime, my pleasure in using them will last a lifetime too because I not only bought a bag, I bought into the ethics behind it too. I won`t buy LG because she now uses or rather her brand now uses Chinese sweatshops and I wouldn`t buy Modalu for the same reasons. The £260 cost of the bag is more than their workers earn in a year and the average bag takes around 8 hours to make at 17p per hour. Some fat cat is making a very fat fortune and Q are about to make their cut of it too.

bit like mulbery and clogau. these companies have huge profits now they are made in china or india

I have a couple of Modalu bags and have not been impressed with the quality, they have not worn well at all despite the fact they have not been used much, and I am glad I didn't pay full price for them. I will not be buying anymore, but at least Q are bringing something different to us

Try Mimi Berry bags, all made in her workshops in either Manchester or london. All guaranteed and fabulous quality. I highly recommend them.
