Not being a crafter I never watch the craft pick of the day,but according to the info on the news section of this blog, IW is up for sale and is in healthy profits thanks to the increase in the popularity of crafting.There has been a big increase in sales over the past few years.

That's true but IW already has a craft channel so why are they putting it on the main channel ????

Rather than confine craft to a niche channel, they must want to expand the base of crafters. If craft is an expanding part of the business they will push to get more people interested and new customers.
