i was in superdrugs and spied a range of skincare on half price. the one i bought was the B.Restored. its a lovely quite rich night cream for the over 50's. what interested me was the addition of glycolic acid, citric acid and lactic acid. all great skin smoothers. its not highly scented and has no essential oils that i can see. it comes in a beautiful perspex jar with a leaping bunny. made in the uk. suitable for vegans.

i used it last night and its made a difference to the feel of my skin. cost around £7 or thereabouts. the rejuvinating cream is a whopping £50 and has a lot less actives than this cream. easier to return if it does not suit your skin

Superdrugs own brand stuff can be really good IMO. Of course, some are truly awful as well, but I do tend to try most things from them. The BUAV accreditation is a definite bonus also.

Thanks for this, I may give this a go as trying to cut down on my spending, I also saw Superdrug had the L'oreal revitalift skin peel (or whatever it is called) reduced down to about £16, that Autumn recommended, they seem to have some great bargains in there at the moment and are much busier than they used to be, could you let us know what the cream you got was called? Many thanks

Do they do a day cream?? I have greasy skin so don't need a night cream.

You can order online and collect from shop for free. btw if you have a greasy skin do you need moisturiser. The specialist at the hospital always told me not to use it. I was recommended a cleanser by Autumn and it has been really good at de clogging the pores. I use it a few times a week as my skin is a lot less greasy now I am old. A Boots produce and it is called SkinClear Daily Face Wash. I think it was on offer when I bought it.

Iloveshopping have you tried using Jojoba Oil ? I started using it about a month ago and its brilliant , I add a few drops to my moisturiser everyday and ive seen a massive difference in my skin, its also great with helping to clear black heads. This is the one ive been using ..;

That's interesting Autumn, never heard of using that. I think I've been put off from oils as, despite its wonder claims, argan oil turned my face into an oil slick covered in mountainous spots. Maybe I'll give this a try instead :)

If you google Jojoba oil alot its highly recommend and if it doesnt suit your skin you can always use it on your hair. Yes i was the same regarding using oil on my face but this one works a treat, I used it just at night to start with my i now use it morning and night and my skin is the best its been in a long time, best thing is the price of the jojoba oil , If it doesnt suit you it hasnt broke the bank :) .

I've used the B.Pure miceller cleansing water - leaping bunny and currently (as at today) £2.45 on their better than 1/2 price promotion.

i have stayed clear of miceller water from the likes of decleor et all as i know my face would look like a pizza. this micellar water is lovely. cleaned my skin beautifully. had to work on my eyes a bit but lovely soft skin after. feels fresh and no water. fabulous. i also used the glycolic cleanser with the cloth.....stuuning result.
