Can I put Vibrapower on carpet?

Can anyone help with my question please? I have just purchased the Vibrapower Slim. One of the first things it says in the manual is NOT to put it on carpet. Well, unless I put it in the kitchen or bathroom, I am stuck! Is it just because it may mark the carpet or is there another reason? Is the machine still effective on carpet? I could always stand it on the exercise mat or even an old piece of carpet or lino. There did not seem to be a helpline number on the manual, so I thought I would ask the question here!! Thanks in advance.

I've no idea why you couldn't put it on the carpet but I suppose putting it on a piece of lino on your carpet would be OK. If you're on Facebook I believe they're brilliant at answering questions there, also good replying to emails too, they normally reply the next day or day after at the latest, so good luck seababy.
