'QVC Presenter Debbie Flint Launches 'Steamy' Novel

Take A Chance On Me was launched in The Chiswick Bookshop


QVC presenters and customers turned out in force along with fellow authors and guests from the publishing world at Debbie Flint's book launch party this week at The Chiswick Bookshop.

Take a Chance on Me is a steamy romance under the new Hot Choc imprint for independent UK publisher Choc Lit. The novel has already reached the top 100 chart in WH Smith travel, and is a UK kindle top 50 best seller and tells the story of a newly-divorced woman whose plans to 'go it alone' fall asunder when she meets a handsome billionaire who lives life in the fast lane!

Debbie was also promoting the launch of her non-fiction book, 'Till The Fat Lady Slims 3.0'.

Dawn Allen, who has lost 6 1/2 stone using her 'freedom eating 'method, in the last year, was also at the launch party. Debbie's book 2.0 - the When Diet, available on amazon, tells of the secrets of slim people and how Freedom Eating can help overcome bad habits around food and break the binge/diet cycle. She says she lost 35lb herself when she first discovered the system in the early 2000s.

Debbie is one of the original QVC UK presenters, having been there until 2000 and then returning in 2009. In between, she did everything from running her own importing company, working in finance and writing books to interviewing celebs, hosting her own BBC1 Daytime TV game show and even appearing on ‘Stars in their Eyes’!

Can imagine all the Chiswick housewives all sipping filter coffee and crunching on organic granola as the ever-egotistical Ms Flint waxes lyrical about her latest pulp fiction. I'm sure pulp is all it's fit for! Shame I wasn't around or I'd have popped in for a laugh! Hahahahaha! As for "The Fat Lady Slims," who the hell is that about? Ms Flint? I rather think not. Fat? Yes. Lady? No. More like "The Fat Fishwife Stays Fat and Writes a Few Cheap Books!"

I am totally devastated and will have to RSVP, because I live nowhere near there. Also I do have very important things on that day, cleaning the toilet, the cat litter tray.

But I just know all her BTY fans will be elbowing each other out of the way to kiss her feet. Hey perhaps Judith will join them?

I thought she'd written loads of books.

There must be an awful lot of wonky legged tables in this Country as DF is continually churning out books to prop them up. A quarter inch book for small wonks, a half inch book for medium sized wonks and her fat lady book for seriously big wonks. Genius !

Her already inflated ego knows no bounds.

It can be found in the 25p bargain bin.

Now there's a plot for a book, strato - get writing, but be careful you don't pinch any of DF's ideas, or you'll get a snotty message (and probably a horse's head in your bed, too)!

Well the publishers won't need to spend much on advertising it....she does plenty of that herself.

So pleased DF has another book out
Can't wait for it to go on sale at the charity shop for 20p so I can add it to my huge collection
Only 10more and I'll have enough to finish my steps to the loft lol

Won't be long now, she knocks one out every twenty minutes, or puts 2.0 or 3.0 after the title then rehashes them again.
