The last couple of days I have been getting an error and a message when I try to log onto the forum. I can usually log in on the second attempt. I run a scan when I leave the site and everything is fine. One time it said it had been infected after I had been on a porn site!!!!!!!!!!! No I haven't.

Not on here but keep getting` bad request` when I try to click on another page in QVC been happening for days and not being techy I`ve no idea how to mend it I don`t understand about cookies and cache either DOH!! lol

Yeah, same here. First attempt, fail, second attempt all okay. Thought it was just me.

Are you using a MAC by any chance?

If you can PM Graham full details of what happens he can look into it.

SEARCH - what does this mean?

Keep getting this on a search, and can't get out of the error.

I haven't been able to access this forum recently - kept coming up with 'hosting' page which immediately took me to Apple store on my iPad. I eventually managed to get back on when I went through the shopping forum archive site which doesn't seem to be affected by the hosting issue.

For some reason a few days ago each poster had a picture of a young lady offering her sevices,it was amusing for a few seconds,no idea why though.

The problems that have been mentioned on this thread can be caused by a number of things, the most likely thing is MALWARE, a lot of Virus Protection Software does not protect you from MALWARE, currently Apple Users on all devices, iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Flashback Malware, I use a Mac and details are in the link below from the company I use for Virus Protection. It is not connected with ShoppingTelly.com in anyway and could occur on any link you may click.

..... and this is a link from the Apple Website https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202458 it can affect any Apple Device.

That is the main one that is causing issues at the moment, but even if you are not using an apple device you can still get infected with MALWARE.

That's absolutely awful, it should never have done that!................I only work weekends. :mysmilie_17:

I've reported it to Graham, told me it was my Mac and gave me a few things to try, it hasn't resolved it and it appears its not just me.

It's happened on both my Android tablets and I've done an anti-virus scan on both, but both ok.

Anti virus scanners will not pick up Malware, you need to scan with anti spyware/malware scanners too.

No I have an Asus Android, still getting ''malware detected.'' on first attempt to log in. Using Avast, do a scan daily.
