got my declaration form from qvc. but did not want the irritation of having to post declaration at my cost and obvious inconvenience. so e mailed qvc and said could i send it over e mail. they said yes and sent me the link. sent the signed declaration but i noticed later on that my signature did not show up on the declaration. i phoned qvc and she said its ok will still action the refund.

suprise suprise e mail from qvc saying that they cant read the signature properly and i have to post it. no refund until they recieve the signed declaration! i was so pissed by now. i asked to speak to a superviser. i said that i never recieved the dress and the hermes printout they sent me said that the dress was never picked up by hermes so by rights hermes should sign the declaration and I WAS NOT GOING TO SEND ANY DECLARATION AS I WAS SICK AND TIRED OF QVC'S BACKWARD THINKING C/S. and i said i want my refund or i will report them to trading standards for witholding my money. she asked me again. i said i am not sending a declaration and i want my refund actioned now. on this occasion she will give me a refund. qvc will never get any money from me again.

Another illustration of Q losing the plot. Remind us, Q: what do the letters QVC stand for? Perhaps the name should be changed to "Lack of QVC"?

If it as sent to your email address then they should've accepted it even if you put an X, they have no right to hold your money but unfortunately they get away with it till challenged. Got to say I don't miss a thing about QVC, especially them trying to me off.

I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I get my item tomorrow or day after .After that ,it's no more shopping with them .

From the Wikipedia entry for QVC UK:
History

The original US channel was founded in 1986 in West Chester, Pennsylvania by Joseph Segel. It grew into a multinational corporation, specialising in televised home shopping. It now broadcasts in five countries to 141 million consumers. The name is an initialism—standing for Quality, Value, Convenience. However, unlike in the USA, the expansion of the initialism is no longer used on air in the UK.
Do we have to guess why???
