Hi anyone, I have an event to go to in Bury, the only hotel I can get now for the weekend I'm going is the Bolholt Best Western, are there lots of cabs and do they run 24 hours, any recommendations for female friendly places to grab a bite, I don't drive by the way, so I will be coming up on public transport and walking or cabbing it... Thanks in advance!

I have my spa membership there. Food isn't fabulous. There are some good pubs fairly close and an Italian resteraunt that used to be very good in Walshaw.

Don't know about the cabs except that as Bury is on the metro I should think you will be OK.The Boholt is too far to walk from the metro.

I only know Bury town centre from whenever I`ve visited the market and shops there. Your hotel reception will have a list of cab companies and will be able to get you either a cab or a phone number for a cab firm 24/7. Also they should have a list of nearby eateries and be able to give you any directions you need.
