I saw this on screen the other day. I did a double take when I saw the price. A Watch Tool Kit for £135 plus £8.99 Postage.

I have every identical tool in this Kit, which I purchased from eBay for around £12 in total!! The only difference is I don't have the case.

They are not of a very high quality, but OK for the amateur, but not professional tools by a mile.

£144 in total is more than taking the p##s!!!

I suspect they have no expectations that this preposterous product will sell, not at all.

I'm thinking this product is merely a ruse to make people think that bona fide watchmakers and serious collectors actually watch the shows that feature their extortionate, shat, no name watches.

It's a bit like the £10 delivery charge for the Mozzy crap which I'm sure is just to make people think that the crap needs to be delivered by armed security guards :mysmilie_59:

The mind boggles how the can get away with it. It also comes with 25p plastic tweezers.

Yep...a massive rip off! And hey, if you really, really honestly had a watch (timepiece) that was worth something either in monetary value, sentiment, or both...who the feck would risk tinkering around with it themselves? It would be crazy, you'd take it to a professional...and quite frankly you'd possibly pay less than £144, the price all in for this ridiculous set. Hey it's not as if it would pay for itself in time. If your watch is in constant need of repair, it can't be that brilliant really!

Talk about someone at IW living in a parallel universe. They obviously don't get the irony of plugging an overpriced watch repair kit, whilst constantly pushing these brands of equally overpriced watches which are so "wonderful", "ground-breaking" and any other adjectives you can think of. Surely everyone has "chucked out their chintz" - sorry, I meant chucked out their old watches - and bought one from IW instead, and I thought the watches IW flog would last a lifetime, cook your dinner for you and be handed on through your family. Are you telling me I was wrong??
