Hi. I am new to all this but have decided to take the plunge as you all seem to be a really friendly bunch of people. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for a good eye cream. I am about to finish my Elimis Pro Collegen Eye Renewal and was wondering if there were any better alternatives out there? Its the laughter lines I'm having trouble with - they're just not funny anymore. (old joke I know but worth an airing I thought!!):)

Hi Catkins- glad you joined us. You'll get lots of advice here and probably end up spending every penny you have, but it's all great fun. :D

I like the Liz Earle creams -the Daily Eye Repair for the mornings and Smoothing Eye Serum at night.

Hi Catkins & welcome .

I am currently using Decleor Expression De L'age which is their new eye cream . Its cheaper than the Elemis ( which I also love ) & seems to be working quite well ( no more lines appearing anyway !)

If your budget can stretch to it the Elemis eye serum under the pro-collagn eye renewal is great - but pricey. I've been using the Olay nature fusion eye cream and the Garnier Nutrionist eye cream - both high street products at around £11 for 15ml and have had good results. Also i would recommend a weekly eye mask - i use the Elemis absolute mask(my favourite) but there are many others both salon and high street available. When applying eye cream/gels or masks a good tip i got from Keeley at Elemis is to use a tapping movement using your ring finger(weakest) all around your eye - it helps the product go into the eye faster, this tapping can also be used after applying moisturiser/serum or facial oil to the face and neck. Hi Catkins and

I use Philosophy when hope is not enough serum, followed by their hope in a tube eye cream around the eye area. I hope you find something that suits you :)

If anybody wants to try this, make sure you buy it from cheapsmells.com as it's much cheaper there than from anywhere else. I've bought from this site and they're great, and P&P is only £0.95 per item. In fact, I have bought Decleor Expression De L'age form them (for £23.95), but I have only started using so I can't say yet if it works for me!

Welcome to the forum Catkins! I'm a big fan of the Clientele eye cream. I'm using up the Decleor Expression de L'Age at the moment. It's ok, but I don't think I'd buy it again. Maybe it's not a fair assessment as I'm suffering a bit with allergies atm, but I'm going back to the Clientele when it's finished.

Definitely Clientele!

I have had an amazing result with this after using Decleor, LE and Elemis at various stages.

Having said that, I do think that changing skin care products every so often is a good thing.

I've just started using the clientele and love it! :D you need so little of it, it will last me months and months!:cool:
