My brothr in law has that and I've tried it out its really good I have the former incarnation the FZ18 and it is a pretty good camera I've had some good shots with mine and the FZ28 has a better spec.

I took these with the FZ18:

Bags,

Here is a review of the FZ28 http://www.cameras.co.uk/reviews/panasonic-dmc-fz28.cfm

I have a much older panny camera FZ8,but it is great, good shots and simple to use whilst having many features. The above review page also gives you links to best prices on the web too.

Hope this helps:1:

That and the £50 cashback voucher plus the 2 year warranty on top of the 1 year!

Review from one of the sites mentioned: http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonicdmcg1/ if you can be bothered reading it all! Yes you should if you're spending serious amounts on the item.:53:

Thanks so much Sweetpea and Clare,
Have managed to get one saved a lot off the QVC price so happy bunny, just need to get myself up and running using it.

Ah thanks I asked which camera you used for your Lake District pictures which were fabulous. Looks like the Panasonic is a very good camera.

How are you getting on with the FZ28 Bags? I bought one too from Amazon and it's great. Very useful for zooming in on the more timid cats and silent as you can turn off the beep. I have a Nikon D40 slr and although the quality of picture is slightly paler compared to the D40, the Panny takes great pictures.

Out of interest did anyone buy the tsv?

Hi Piecan,
Thanks so much for asking I took it out Sunday for the first time to try.
Haven't read the instructions so just took some shots blind really.
Seems a lot of camera for what I paid £175 pleased so far.
Need to sit down and study the manual and I fancy getting a photo mag to help with my new hobby - lol

There is nice colour in the sky with that shot. I haven't had time to read the manual yet either, only just got one for my other camera. Where did you find the FZ28 so cheap?! I paid over £200.
