Has anyone used both these ranges with any opinions to share? I am a teeny bit nervous about trying the range as I am going through a bit of a nightmare skin situation at the moment as acne has suddenly appeared! Does anyone have any hints and tips, please?

if its adult acne and its maybe hormonal like mine was i stay clear away from oily moisturisers. my worst nightmare was pro collagen marine cream. literally it really over stimulates the skin if it oily or hormonal.
i am using an aha (alpha hydroxy acid) based serum and i am so impressed. i suspect that they help clear the skin by exfoliating and keeping the pores clear which when blocked cause spots.also maybe the acidity helps balance ths skin. hope this might help. boffy.

thanks for the words of advice boffy! i have always been a bit afraid of ahas, so it is good to hear your review...i like the idea of it helping with pigmentation marks (which i am adding to every week it seems!)...

A bit of beam here but did I dream it or did Sarah Chapman present Mop on qvc before Mike I'm sure she did. I know she also used to be on Shop TV so i just wondered if she is another Glen Campbell ie talks the talk but not up in the ranks of Liz Earle...please put me right if I've got it wrong!!

hi looby, i am not sure but i am sure others will be able to answer for sure...but, i think she has a bit more behind her than most...she is a facialist by trade and has quite a following. i think her range is very natural in gentle in philosphy but uses quite advanced and potent ingredients...i have not used anything in the range so far but am SOOO tempted!

hi,
I have used both ranges and Sarah Chapman wins hands down. She is a much sought-after facialist in London and has spent 4 years researching the range. The moisturiser makes my 37 year old skin glow, the cleanser is quick and efficient and does not leave an oily film on the skin. The serum is light, smells beautifully and does not aggravate my sensitive skin. First I order the sample set and it lasted for ages. All sizes were 15 mls and this is half size for the serum. Next on my list is the overnight facial oil.

So, erycina, my skin is dry/dehydrated and I'm prone to rosacea. I'm trying the Clarins Hydra Quench at the moment and people have actually noticed an improvement in my skin. Do you know how Sarah Chapman compares in price and formulations?

I like a lot of Liz Earle products and the Superskin moisturiser particularly suits my skin. However, I've not had the 'wow' factor that I'm getting from using the Sarah Chapman products. I've only been using them for about a week now and my skin feels really soft, my eyes are looking much better (fine lines) and a red spot that I've had for weeks that wouldn't shift no matter what I put on it, has cleared up and disappeared! I should say I'm feeling a bit under the weather at the moment as I've had a troublesome tooth that erupted into an abscess last Friday. However, my skin looks great! Btw, I'm using the sample pack, eye cream and overnight facial oil. You think the oil is going to be too greasy, but it sinks it straightaway and your skin feels wonderful in the morning.

I have sensitive skin (prone to eczema), so can't use strong products on my skin. This range isn't cheap, but it's well worth it imo. I'd try the sample pack from QVC first; that way you can always send it back if it doesn't suit your skin. HTH and apologies for writing an epistle! lol

P.S. Thanks to Jabba for recommending this range.

okay, i now wish i had not started this thread as it looks like i am going to have buy yet more skincare! i still have loads of elemis to get through, but i am thinking i could slot it in to use this range...will have to build a new bathroom to store everything though...

Hi Whatsinaname,
The formulations are pricier than Liz Earle. Moisturiser about £40 and if you go to her website, www.sarahchapman.net there is a list of ingredients. I do not know its effect on rosacea but I have tried loads of ranges from QVC and department stores and this is the only one that had the wow factor for me. I started with the sample kit just in case I needed to return it.

Lik you erycina I have tried both and Sarahs range is second to none.

I bought 3 discovery kits and am on a waitlist at Sarahs own site for the launch ( next week I believe) of the full size cleanser!

I had my facial this week at my local Decleor salon and Claire the therapist who does my facials , asked what I had been using on my skin since last months visit as it was in 'beautiful glowing condition'.

I told her and I do believe that she is going to try this range for herself!

for those curious about Sarahs credentials check here......

Its interesting to note that QVC have a great price on the discovery kit compared to SpaceNk and Sarahs own site

Thanks Melusina I'm glad that you are achieving the same results that I am, I was a bit surprised at how small the products were but my first kit is still going strong and is in use religiously twice a day!:jump:

Have never tried SC but the prices look a bit steep for me, so if it was on price alone LE would win hands down.
The LE range uses really good ingredients but doesnt charge the earth for them.

I agree Bluebell the prices of Sarah Chapman are ridiculous I love the LE range has its a good quality range that I can afford it would be pointless for me to try the try me set on QVC as I would never be able to keep it up. I've used LE for almost 12 years now and its done wonders for my skin.

Liz Earle wins hands down. :54:

Her stuff is affordable luxury that is within everyone's budget and the results are immediately visible.

Now everyone can afford gorgeous, gleaming soft skin thanks to Liz!

Couldn't have put it better myself, I actually look forward to using it every day, the greatest skincare ever created IMO!

I have relented and gone for the discovery pack and gone on waitlist for the facial oil....i think it is a very fair and true comment to mention the obvious price difference between the two brands and clearly in this respect, LE is a total winner...the fact that LE has some great products helps also!

However, I have decided that I will try this range (and truly try not to be tempted by other brands ever ever ever ever again....ever).

In my quest for finding out more about the brand, I spoke to the clinic where the facials are done...apparently, the new full size cleanser is coming in next week and Sarah tested the products on acne sufferers a few months before the launch to make sure there were no reactions...HTH!

Yes just like I always decide I am totally happy with what I am using....

Until I read this thread and starting to wonder if I am missing out on something by not trying the SC range :D

Looking at QVC though it does seem pretty expensive so is it really fair to compare it against Liz Earle?

I have used LE in the past but can someone compare it to Decleor or Gatineau please for a more useful comparison of worth.
