Well I have had a rubbish day today! At a conference all day and coming home found the motorway closed due to a major accident so was stuck for 3 hours in a traffic jam and desperate to visit the "wee girls rooms"!! :Faint:

Anyway, got home to find my beautiful Paraiba Tourmaline ring had arrived which cheered me up no end!
It is G O R G E O U S!! :Happy1:

I've had another go at pics - yes I know I said never again - and they are still rubbish but here they are anyway. Here's the link for the details but there's no pic on it for some reason https://www.thejewellerychannel.tv/popups/viewdetail.aspx?StockCode=587979

I saw the same ring but a quarter of a carat less the other day go for £599. Mine was £679 but compared to the Paraiba I've seen on other channels it's worlds apart.

The colour doesn't look quite right in the pics it's actually a blue green but looks more green in the pics. Also the diamonds (baguette and round) are dazzling but look dead in the pics. Oh well I can't be good at everything now can I?!! :phone:

It's going off to Safeguard straight away so won't get it back for up to 10 days but as long as the valuation's a good one then it's definitely got itself a good home!

Wowzer Klos .... what a beauty!

Well done you! I'm sure it'll be staying at chez Klos.

.... and I think you pics are definitely improving :D

Wow klos that ring of yours is stunning, what a lovely colour and ring looks really well made so well done you. oh and you are getting soo better with your photos:35:

That's lovely and such a better colour than half the toot they're showing on some other channels these days. Congrats!

It's gorgeous Klos:1:

Looks like you have a belter there,hun........Enjoy!!!

Great piccies too........................................surprisingly.....tehehehe ;)

Lovely......

Many congrats on your new Paraiba Klos, it looks a lovely rich colour and a very pretty design also. Speedy delivery as well,

seeing the date you first posted about it. Hope you also get a quick service from Safeguard so that you aren't parted from

this stunning beauty for too long.

Lovely PT KB. A great colour and glow.

Just a word of caution (and I hate to say this) but PT's are not being valued highly by Safeguard. There was such an influx into the market of Mozambique material that it seriously devalued the stone. It will come back up though so don't despair.

I've got to say that yours is the nicest PT I've seen in a long time - and the very best I've seen from TJC. TJC seemed to specialise in icy blue yucky stuff so it's good to see that they've got some nice stones now. Have a look at it in shaded light - I bet it glooowwwwwsssssssssss!

Cor.... what a beautiful ring Klos. The colour is fab and the design really pretty. I didn't think there were any nice PTs left; all I've seen lately are wishy washy stones in need of double glazing!

I can't think you'll be sending this beauty home. Wear it in good health!

Thank you all very much for your lovely comments.

I actually feel really guilty about spending so much on a ring when I could be putting the money towards my new bathroom! Hubby was all for me buying it because he's always having at go saying if it's over £29 I'm too miserable to buy it!! Little does he know it's because if I don't buy it he usually does so saves me a fortune! He didn't offer to pay for this one though so thank goodness for my annual bonus otherwise there's no way I'd have taken the plunge.

Meeshoo - thanks for your advice and yes it really does glow! I was amazed and like a child covering it up to see the glow. I didn't actually realise they did this and it wasn't until I looked at it in a dim light that I realised. It's like Kryptonite! Just as well other half is only my Superman and not the real one eh? :Laughing1:

Lol don't feel guilty. Look at it this way....you can wear that beautiful ring on your finger anytime you want to show it off outside. Wearing the bathtub or even the plug is a no no.
