I don't mind him, except that it's obvious he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about! He stresses "oval cut" as though it was something special, talks about "18 carats of white gold" and now I've just heard him say that Tony Diniz mined medusa quartz personally.
Still, he'll get over it - it used to annoy me a bit that John Scott knew very little about gemstones, but obviously this is no longer true.
