*pops by for the first time in a while* I've noticed that some of the semi-precious stone bracelets at Argos have practically identical designs to ones on TJC, such as my "exclusive, can't be bought anywhere else" Mozambique garnet bracelet...

I laugh each time Liz Fuller says she thinks tanzanite is the rarest gemstone ever...

Program guide has a couple more new names- Annie Jenkins and Marc Cherrie- starting over the next couple of nights. TJC seems to be getting through new presenters pretty quickly...

I'm not too gone on most of the new ladies they've brought in...getting used to Kay and Christine (the Canadian lady), but the others are pretty forgettable, and I'm distinctly unimpressed by the dress Caroline was wearing the other night (grey with one sleeve cut off).

Still inflated and "no indication of worth and value" but noticed today that the start prices aren't quite as ridiculous and Derek says they've gone through and changed them all. They seem to be about a quarter of what they used to be.

I'm in the "Kay is ok" (no pun intended!) club; she's one of the better of the new presenters but not an overall favourite. Oh, and did anyone else see new presenter Caroline last week? You'll know if it was her from the Northern accent...

Just had a quick look and it seems to be an improvement, although I'll reserve judgement until I try to buy something!

I once saw a breakpoint on a £600 diamond bracelet; now every time I see that particular piece I get annoyed... ;)

I'm wondering if these items will go into the normal selling format after Spotlight Week is over, but I guess the only way to find out is to wait. I liked some of the Colour Couture items on offer but I prefer to buy from the website so until/unless they get that set up I probably won't indulge.

They just recapped the Ortak on the Colour Couture hour and the prices are high; that amethyst bracelet is more expensive than a 9K white gold one I got from TJC a while back.

So having shown us the colour and clarity charts a thousand times and plastered "SI clarity, G-H colour" all over the screen, we're now told "oh by the way, it isn't"!? :mad:

I got up yesterday and there was a rose spinel ring on; then when I checked the website later the exact same ring was on- I began to worry that my computer was in some sort of time warp!

I know some people here are interested in loose gemstone hours so I just thought I'd say I saw one advertised for next Tuesday (5th August) from 7-9pm.
