I got the crystal one by Nailoid years ago which has got a slightly pointy end which I like, don't think I would get on with the round end on the LD one.

Have a look at the Fire opals further down, for supposedly different stones(size/weight) they have got the same photo!. I don't think I'd like to buy loose stones by post, at least at gem shows I can decide there and then if I like them, and match them for earrings.
