It's Christmas Day 2013 and your other half buys you a special present....

[/B] Of course they did. Who else would employ them

It's Christmas Day 2013 and your other half buys you a special present....

Well, I could hardly employ lesser known and therefore cheaper salespeople (aka 'presenters') could I? They were using the dregs anyway. I would think the only thing to do is rent out the channel to the USA advertising people who run on a loop. Ideally though it would be cheaper and kinder to...

So where will the presenters reappear?

My sister in law thinks Avon will be a bit too up market for him after what he is used to knocking out. His stuff is not so much £50 and ounce, more 30p a quart

So where will the presenters reappear?

James Russell: Burger van outside QVC or I.W. Hoping to get noticed. Peter Shylock: Avon lady Sally Jaxx: Bingo caller, no need for a mike Mike M, Selling out of a suitcase in Oxford St. His 'Goddess' as the look out Peter Simon... What the heck can this fool do? He is only 66 (born in 1948)...

    What's Going On?

I'm surprised Peter 'I'm your best pal' Shylock hasn't been on here talking it up. No doubt he's touting for a job somewhere. Harrods will snap him up won't they...:mysmilie_15:

Price drop now gone , now "Best of Bid"

What I can't understand is, if as it would appear, they are trying to sanitize their image why keep the 2 Peters? One is clearly past it and the other will be forever identified as the one the BBC used as an example of what a rip off the channel is.

    Another exclusive new perfume

It's very simple really. He's over in France looking for that elusive perfume so that he can come back on here and give us all the lowdown.

Will Peter Sherlock Give It A Rest?

I rang my family in France last week(they have lived there for some time and the kiddies are more French than their English mum.) So far they have had no luck finding it either. Even the perfume buyers they have spoken to are saying the French equivalent of 'Eh?'

Will Peter Sherlock Give It A Rest?

Has anyone asked the ASA to look into this confusing mess? I mean, btw the way, not the product but the way posters have had to do their own investigating and are still not clear.

I feel very sorry for Mark Ryes

I don't belong to Twitter or Facebook Benny. I gather, from what's on here thought that this man is an avid tweeter. I'm not usually a sad person, I've lived too long to be sad over trivialities. However, we have had a few sad years, and no doubt more to come, following the death of our...

I feel very sorry for Mark Ryes

Me too Paul. I can remember walking down the Kings Road Chelsea... mini skirt, skinny rib,& PVC boots. The 1960's seems such a lovely decade when compared to life now. However! I'm feeling sorry for myself because I was in hospital as a day case on Friday, having 6 tooth roots out and today I...

Ahhh B&M my spiritual home. There were cushions 'recommended' in a magazine last week. A must have for a home makeover. They were £25 each. They've got the same in B&M £6!

I feel very sorry for Mark Ryes

I had a good bit of advice from my mum, herself a senior nurse, when I started nursing: Always treat people as you would wish to be treated yourself and be nice to those you meet on the way up, because you'll very likely meet them on the way down. An old cliche yes, but very true and you don't...

I feel very sorry for Mark Ryes

Please don't all jump on me from a great height:sad: Just imagine if you were so bitter and twisted that you had no friends and so lonely that you were reduced to posting every little detail of your day on Twitter. What a sad, barren souless life. Made worse by the fact that you brought it all...
