I saw a sliver of TJC yesterday. the presenter (I don't know their names) was selling 'Tanzanite' ring. His spiel was (not quoting) "Okay folks this fabulous ring isn't 24 karat gold, it's not 18 karat, it's the hardest wearing gold of all - 9 karat!"

My wife has been watching quite a bit of QVC lately. Today I noticed a truly stunning young lady who was promoting 'huggable hangers'(?) Her name is Ami (I don't know her surname) Is she a new presenter or a 'brand ambassador? She can sell me some coat hangers any day of the week?!

I'm currently reading 'Saturday Night Peter'. I was surprised to see that Peter Kay gives a mention to Peter Simon. Basically Kay saw Simon (of 'Going Live' fame) when the latter was the warm up man for a quiz show hosted by Richard Madeley. Kay describes Simon as 'outrageously funny'.

The thread title says it all. Up until a few weeks ago Lloyd (Ashford-Thom) was a regular on IW demonstrating products. Now he's disappeared? Does anyone know why?
