    Appeal to Bid Shopping

Bid PLEASE STOP TRYING TO BE QVC/ IDEAL WORLD! Recently they've tried to become TOO much like a shopping channel; the new sets, graphics, boring presenters, guests, fixed prices, clocks, phone line locking, serious hard sell, themed hours etc. Even though many of us would consider 2001-2002...

This is how price drop SHOULD be!

Today has been a great example of how price drop would be better. 2 presenters and 1 assistant. The presenters seem to bounce off each other when working together and its great to have the assistant popping in and interjecting. Mayhem and entertainment. It is the way forward for this channel!

    Oh dear!

James Gardner is LIVE on price drop right now but he's also on speed auction which is pre-recorded but on the graphics it says 'LIVE EVENT'. Reminiscent of the debacle that happened a few years ago with Paul Evers, news which made the tabloids when he was live on bid but also on price drop...

    Spoilt for choice!

Great viewing on offer today from bid shopping. Sally on bid whilst Cindy, Yo Lisa and Adam are on price drop :) Just love Cindy, and Yo Lisa is marv! Wish there were more regular events with 2 presenters on at the same time. Much more fun and great entertainment.

    Overpriced Limit Watches

Andrea just sold a men's Limit watch on bid for £4.99 (+p&p) total £12.98 Just did a quick check as I'm not aware of the prices elsewhere and found the very same watch on Argos's Ebay page for £6.99 + £1.99 p&p - total £8.98 So bid is £4 more expensive. The link is below... Wonder if all...

The Rise & Fall of Sit-Up

Anyone remember when both bid tv and price drop tv could sell anything? i.e. something like the rechargable sonic toothbrush which now goes for £1 and normally the clock ends the sale as not enough buyers come in. Back in 2004 on a product like that there would be a quantity of about 400 and...

    Cindy should be on bid!

Cindy Humphrey is just great! Fun, happy and honest. Just been watching her on speed auction having a sing and dance with the lemon popsicle CDs. She would be great on bid. She always looks fabulous and has studied fashion so why don't we see her on the fashion events, she knows more than most...

    Most honest presenter

Bid Shopping do have a lovely set of presenters but as we all know as part of their job they have to tell us bare faced lies but I have to say overall I think the most honest presenter has to be Cindy Humphrey!

    Buyers beware- ALWAYS compare.

Due to the dramatic difference in price each sale seems to have at the moment I think it is time to monitor the differences. Earlier with Andy Hodgson on bid he sold the Elitech 600w handy vac in red for £16.99 (+ £7.99 p&p) On www.bid.tv it is £14.99 (with only £5.99 p&p- regardless of how many...

£19.99 on pricedrop, £12.99 on bid...

This afternoon the set of 2 solar lights with chains and bolards sold on pricedrop for £19.99 at 14.55 and £12.99 at 15.30. The thing is with bid shopping the price should be determined by the amount and speed of people buying- fair enough and it should sell based on demand. The thing I...

Working for Bid Shopping: Bad for your health!

The poor producers! Every day they do Jewellery Avalanche, Bonus Box Jewellery Avalanche, Non stop drops, Jewellery Jeopardy etc etc etc. Every time they do these the producers are "on the edge", "about to have a heart attack". While the presenters are "at risk of losing their job", "not going...
