Feel like i'm home!

Hi I have just discovered this forum and am thrilled to bits because you all seem so lovely and your posts are funny and knowledgeable..and you love gems like me!!!
I have been watching R&C, TJC etc for about a year now and have bought a lot of pieces but have to admit have sent a lot back too because ive had to learn as I go along and its a big learning curve.
I've loved jewels since I was tiny..all that sparkles etc, I was given a piece of amber and some paste dangly earrings when I was 7 and that was it!
Find some of the information on the telly misleading or just plain confusing sometimes and am learning more from these pages thanks to you guys.
yesterday the presenter on TJC called some sapphires 'marquee cut' and said another diamond ring would make the wearer feel like a domestic goddess..hope not thats the last thing i'd want after forking out a couple of grand!!

I am sure you will enjoy your time here,you are correct in saying that everyone is lovely,very helpful too when it comes to gems etc,I too have learnt an awful lot from the wonderful peeps here,and made a few friends also.

Well! what can i say...thank you folks for such a warm welcome..i am so happy to be with you.
Must say first of all that there is nothing i would like more than to show you my prizes, the good ones that is! if i get brave enough i have a pathetic looking tanzanite wannabee i am ashamed to say i bought..I suspect it came out of a christmas cracker once>>oh did they see me coming! Problem is I am not at all computer savvy and i don't know how to make links or post pictures but I photograph all my jewellery when it arrives and keep a record of price etc
love my new name of Bree-olay!! Still smiling though about the very funny post about the price of a sleeve! Anyway must put the telly on and in the words of Jerilee look at all the gasp! lovely jooolery! bye

Amethyst ring from Rocks 381 528 still hasnt arrived its a consignment stuck somewhere apparently!
Paraiba ring from TJC 603 083 took a chance with this as i didnt see it for long and don't know the gold weight..but it made my day to order it!
