Here's a new one for you:D. Never let it be said I don't give you good value;)

Watched part of the Diamonique Veronese hours this afternoon with Simon Biagi and Ginetta.

He referred to a particular ring as having a 'cacophony' of stones. I've heard a lot of daft stuff on there in my time, like gems being referred to as talented etc - but a cacophony of stones? The last time I looked in the dictionary cacophony meant loud, discordant sounds or noises - nowt to do with gems at all...

I suppose if you wear enough Diamonique the sound of you clanging down the naughty, forbidden high street might create a cacophony - but even that's pushing it a bit...:D

Well, I love my sparklies, but I hope I'm never LOUD....that would be so vulgar and tacky!:eek:

I'd hate to think anyone could hear me coming.......*whistles innocently*

You and your sharp ears are indeed good value, Cavegirl, keep up the good work...:D:D

tinaborder - you could well be right, there...could well have been what he meant:)

A cacophony of Sh1te! Looks like he swallowed the dictionary before he read it :)

:)There are definitely times when there is a cacophany on QVC - but a Cacophany of stones? Did he mean symphony? Bless. :)

Or is it one of those funny ones like a Murder of Crows?

A Cacophany of Presenters - that sounds about right ;)

Just another small but (important to me) piont. Simon kept on refering the diamonique stones as gemstones. They are not, don't make them into something they are not.
