OK, so if there's one thing GUARENTEED to bring PR out of self imposed exile, it's gossip!!!!


oooooooo who can it be???????????? ...and who the 'ecky pecky is Rae??????? I thought Ruth was confirmed at TJC??? If not, she would be well good!! Either that, or Emnma coming back - that would MORE than make my day!!

Perds, as much as I love you and think you are the best and everything, I really don't think they would call you before me, as we both know that I am the one with not only the penchant for the dramatic (I do the BEST faux shocked look in the world ever...seriously, Caroline Lindsay has NOTHING on me!) but also, the Rock, which pretty much makes me part of the family up there, and I certainly haven't received the call, so darling - I think not!! ;)

so number 2....who can number 2 be.....actually probably shouldn't call them that as I don't want them to think I am likening them to poo....erm....second person.....who can it be?????????????????

Thinking of it, Liz hasn't been on GemsTv for a while, or Rae, but they are both still on the GemsTv website, whereas Sam isn't. Surely they couldn't work for two channels?

Did Steve say we'd know them from other jewellery channels?

I suppose we wait and see. Whoever it is, and wherever they are from, I'm not going to judge them from their previous channels or how they've worked in the past.
Rod has transformed since leaving GemsTv. Half the size he used to be, and funny, and charming. Breath of fresh air. Whoever, comes in, let's hope they get the 'Bennett' treatment. I've only been a customer of theirs since RocksTV/Coloured Rocks towards the end of 2009, but, you can see how dedicated they are. Everyone there. :mysmilie_696:

I think the only excitement is in James Russell's own head (horrible man) :mysmilie_701:

Apart from his weight, I don't think that Rod has "transformed" really as he was always funny and very gentle. He just went a bit quiet towards the end of his time on the dark side (I don't think that sell, sell, sell thing they have going now, was quite his cuppa).

I might be inclined to prejudge based on other performances, but only if they had appeared to have sold their souls. I'm all for enthusiasm where it's genuine, but can't stand all that shouting and fake open-mouthed stuff. xxxxx

How do you know it's Rae Graham? Not the most inspired choice of presenters imo. I still miss Emma, thought she was fab and she didn't even start off as a presenter, fell into it rather by accident I seem to remember by covering someone else's shift.

shes between jobs now she said on a post on her fbook page, that her graphics design job didnt take off what a shame!....so fingers crossed one is Emma!

Is there really any need for new presenters when Steve barely lets his current team get on air in front of him?!

The other point is what is the point in other presenters, as I would advise people to hold off buying a piece unless Steve auctions it - as he usually undermines previous prices and goes lower.
