I agree Sazza but you only have to go into Rocks Chat to see that people are buying. People are just reluctant to post up I think because the forum HAS become all doom and gloom unfortunately. There's no getting away from it that the past 4 or 5 months have been dire and not particularly a nice place to be. I do hope you're right and it turns around because it's soooooooooo depressing.

I don't deny people on Rocks chat are buying but the majority on there are not members of ST.

Perfect sense and I totally agree! I think there's some of that (and it'll always be around because it's the written word). However, the trouble makers who make veiled comments aimed at individuals or are downright nasty knowing it will get a rise should just be ignored because, quite frankly, they should get a life! :mysmilie_61:

:mysmilie_82: thanks i hate to miss anything :mysmilie_61:

You've been warned! You won't be the same again. Don't let it be said I didn't try to dissuade you!

Good luck with the burned retinas. :mysmilie_697:

Sorry I just don't accept that and if that IS the case why did you bother coming back?

Charming! I think I explained that earlier.

Graham - if you think I'm wrong that's fine but just look at all the threads. Try to find a happy one.

I'm sitting on the fence somewhat here. I agree the shopping side of things has become disappointing with some quite nasty and unwarranted posts being placed. About two weeks ago, I went to the bother of placing quite a big post on my happy bargains purchased during the last "dark side" clearance and didn't get one response. On the other side though, the Drop trundles along in its usual jolly fashion. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D15%255F1%255F63%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15_1_63.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D15_1_63%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a> xxx Perhaps we all need a bit of sun?

You're not wrong there Argey and some sweetness and light as well.

Thank you for your earlier post Sarah (Bennett), I think your patient and polite posts are an example to us all and I for one am sorry that you have yet another unfortunately titled thread in your section of the forum.

We are now going round in circles and achieving very little, time to put this one to bed perhaps? :mysmilie_687:

Everybody on this forum contributes to the atmosphere - if people aren't happy with the negativity then do something to lighten things, if everybody contributes then things will improve.

As for closing the thread, I appreciate your thoughts Sacha but decisions like that rest with the moderators and admin team and not with forum members. If you think a thread needs our attention then please use the 'report post' button. Please don't post your opinions on what action should be taken on the thread.

I agree that there do seem to be some posters around at the moment with the sole intent of causing upset. I feel that they would become bored if nobody reacted to these posts. They appear to me to crave attention, so, if ignored, they would hopefully soon go elsewhere. I know at times it's very difficult to bite your lip (or your typing fingers in this case!), but it might make the forum a happier place again.
I did try to start a new thread just the other day after I received an order from Rockstv. I took some piccies of my bling, but couldn't upload them. I think I may be over the megapixel limit (think my camera is 10), so advice on how to upload these photos to the forum would be greatly appreciated.

Hi jacquelina, if you type you post as normal and then hit the little paper clip you can upload and add thumbnails from your 'Photos' file. (I think/hope :mysmilie_697:)

Thanks Calvin, I used to be able to do that with my old camera, but with my new 10MP camera it just doesn't work. I'm going to have a play around with it a bit to try to get it to work, but as I'm virtually computer illiterate, I don't hold out too much hope.

I can't upload photos from my files anymore either Jacqualina, think it's because they're too big (too many pixies :mysmilie_697:) I can only do it by either using my Picasa programme (it's free to get) or my downloading the photo, and then uploading it from the downloaded image :mysmilie_17:

So that's downloading from the uploading image that then needs uploading into the bit of st.com that you've got downloaded on your puter? Got it! Easy when you know how!
