Hmmm not sure I would trust Q over a Beauty "As Is" item given they have been known to send out used beauty items when you order a new one!!!!!

It was a TSV a couple of Christmases ago and a baked product shelf life is 18 months, never mind if the items were used.

powder products are fine for years to be honest, they had to put a use by date on all products so powder as well. The lipsticks etc I would be cautious of, if they start smell like a crayon its a big sign gone off.

It's Zahid (or whatever his name is) on TJC at the moment - the remote has just been used, needless to say, and even Our Screechy Sal (Jacks) is preferable while I'm eating my lunch, so shows you how bad TJC was...By the way, Sal's just told us that her previous career "for many, many years" was as a carpet demonstrator. Can life hold anything greater when it comes to qualifications to tell stories (sorry, "present") on IW? How long's her CV? Has she been working since 1920? With all her past "careers", she must be about 150 years old. Sal's also told the carpet cleaning man that she's walked back in from the lavatory.......I can't stand the excitement, so I'm going back to Zahid!

When it's been tried on (garments, footwear) but not worn, I've no quibble (we do pay new prices for goods we try on in shops, after all). When we get items which have been worn extensively and smell or look worn, then these should definitely not be sold as new.

Beauty products which have been used at all should not, in my opinion, be sold as new. Merely opening a product has exposed it to air and contaminants, and reduces the shelf-life... and if the person has had the items for a while to try before returning, they could have been stored in sunlight or a warm spot meaning even unopened they could have deteriorated. I sincerely hope they don't send out returned food again either (I would report them if I thought they did that), but I would definitely object to used beauty products on health and hygiene grounds :mysmilie_460:
