Yankee Candles TSV - 09/09/08

Not sure about the TSV at the moment, like Sazza not sure about the shade not fitting both jars. :think:

It might have pushed the price up a little but it would have made more sense to have had a shade that would fit both jars in the collection. They could have just put in two small jars and that would have made it cheaper and shade would have worked on both.

Am very tempted, but I have so many Yankee Candles at home I could set up my own shop, not helped by the Megapack I recently bought from Yankee Doodle. I love Baby Powder and Midnight Jasmine, but only moderately keen on Tahitian Tiare flower, which I already have some of anyway. By the time I have taken off the Tiare candles, the burner and the votive holders all of which I already have plenty of, I think I would be better buying the items I want separately. Good starter kit though.

By the way, if anyone lives anywhere near a Boundary Mill, their prices on Yankee Candles are quite good. They had a previous TSV (the World Fragrances one with the two wick Rose of Morocco and Tahitian Tiare flower plus several small jars) on sale in the Colne store a few weeks ago for £15.

Ooh not been to Boundary Mill for about 15 years (looking for schhol stuff i think) i may have a look. Thanks for that.
I havent bought any Yankee Candles yet and am wondering whether its worth just buying from Yankeedoodle instead. But that sounds good from Boundary Mill.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I tried to place an early bird order with QVC yesterday with EZ for the TSV, to be told by Customer Service that the item is only available at the full TSV price and they knew nothing about any EZ options.

Will still order item on Tuesday morning but I am disappointed.

Usually we don't know if there will be Easy Pay until the launch. Sometimes they have Easy Pay that lasts all day but other times they have Early Bird Easy Pay and that means it is available from the launch at midnight but only until 9 or 10am. Hope this helps explain.

I didn't know this had been a TSV and I bought the set recently from Yankeedoodle for £30 so £15 is a great price.

that is a good price for that world collection

It is still showing on Q Mobile at the full price, usually by now it would have the TSV price showing.

Does that mean it might be something else...???

When I checked earlier the piccie wasn't there so maybe price will change soon too.

fingers crossed however I intend to spend my hard earned on Darls's tarts instead
