Default Caroline Lyndsay joins Rocks & Co

Former GemsTV presenter Caroline Lyndsay has joined the launch team of Rocks & Co.

She joins former GemsTV colleague Victoria Burton, Sharon Clancy former Jewellery Channel presenter, Pricebusters TV's Stacy Ellis and Sam Lauren the host of Blonde Babes on Men and Motors.

Rocks & Co have issued the following Press Release:

""No Falling Auctions, No Gimmicks, Just Great Value on Great Jewellery

Rocks & Co. is a new jewellery shopping channel, in association with consumer brand JML, broadcasting live on Sky channel 642 from 6th September. Committed to adding sparkle to home shopping, Rocks and Co. offers viewers the best of a ‘traditional’ high street experience - fixed prices, excellent sales service and no pressure to buy, all with the added convenience of 24-hour online shopping and speedy home delivery.

“Rocks & Co. is a purveyor of quality jewellery and we’ll be selling with integrity”, said Managing Director, Chris Parsons, “We won’t be resorting to gimmicks such as falling auctions, just offering great value on great jewellery.” When asked whether the prevalence of jewellery auction shopping channels indicates a consumer preference, Parsons responded, “Given recent changes to the ASA regulations governing reverse auctions, I think that format has run its course; it’s more the case of there not being an alternative and we fill the gap. If you’re passionate about quality jewellery, we’re definitely the channel for you.”

The Rocks & Co. team includes internationally renowned gemstone experts and jewellery designers who understand fashion, beauty and style. Rocks & Co. aim to bring consumers an exquisite range of jewellery, including exclusive collections that cover every taste from classic to contemporary.

Victoria Burton, experienced presenter and gemstone expert. Commenting on the exciting launch of Rocks & Co. Victoria said “We’ll bring a breath of fresh air to buying jewellery. Quality is a given, but viewers also want jewellery savvy advice on the right products for them, the latest fashion trends as well as a genuine appreciation of gemstones. I am a big believer that shopping should be fun and fabulous. The expertise and passion of Rocks & Co. makes for a truly unique shopping experience”. Don’t be tempted to think this format will be staid, fun and engaging discussion will be a hallmark of the channel, including celebrity guest presenters, including the likes of John Scott, of ‘This Morning’ fame and Jilly Johnson."

Wasn't it Vicki Burton who said she would not entertain applications from previous TV jewellery presenters? Is Barry working at Rocks & Co...thought he was with Rocks TV? This is becoming seriously confusing .

Exclamation Just clearing a few things up...

    Hi all...

I just thought I would write a quick message to clear things up, as it would appear that this issue is becoming seriously confusing!

I currently have no working connection whatsoever with rocks andco or jml.

I am currently employed by www.rocks.tv part of the Coloured Rocks Group - where I present a live auction of gemstone jewellery from 17:00 till 23:00.

I do however wish Caroline all the best with this career move and every sucess for the future (I will call soon! - promise :) )

If they won't be resorting to selling with gimmicks then they may have to surgically remove Caroline's look of shock when she sees the selling price :D.

I didn't know Vicky Burton was a gemstone expert:rolleyes: I've always liked Caroline, so it'll be interesting to see what format this new channel will take.
