I always used Models Prefer loose 'yellow powder' but I am now running low and don't know how/where to repurchase. QVC have some YBF beauty items but not this one. Does anyone know if it is now called neutralizing powder? And is it just pressed now and not loose? I don't really mind which way it comes but I need the same product.

Much TIA

I checked HSN.com which is where Stacey sells in the states & they have ybf Neutralizing Pressed Powder at $23. For loose powder though they only have the Custom Loose Finishing Powder that we have on QVC over here on waitlist. The TSV we should have had from Stacey on the launch day would have contained a pressed powder that was half bronze, half yellow, but it would take someone more clued in than I am to tell you if we're ever going to get that.

Unfortunately, for now, trawling eBay may be the way to go. If you feel like trying something else though you could go for Benefit Get Even face powder. (QVC item no. 226682) I only mention it because it also counteracts redness & after quite some time using Stacey's yellow powder myself it's what I'm now using. :)

You could try the original! The Covent Garden Pharmacy sells T Le Clerc powders - this is the brand that Stacey always refers to as the "secret place in Paris that only the models knew about".

Hope this link works, but if not, do a search for Covent Garden Pharmacy and look for the T Le Clerc in banane:

(They operate a loyalty scheme I think also!)

No yellow powder from qvc at the moment..think it was due in with the tsv but stock problems..blah...blah.

The only ybf product similar in stock is the neutralising creme -

Thanks, that might work as well but I liked the demattifying effect the powder had

..or you can buy from models prefer directly (they must be getting rid of old stock!)

http://www.modelsprefer.com/face.yellowpowder.asp for $10.00 + p&p

Hope this helps!! :D

Thank you - I didn't realise their website was still around - I am going to check what the postage might be

The ironic thing is I think QVC had this in stcok in their clearance/last clicks recently but I never realised what it was

Thanks it could come into stock on QVC here when the rest of the products do.

I have a citrine dial powder for sale in the thread in my signature

I tried this before and I felt it was different to the neutralizing powder although they do look very similar but thanks anyway.

QVC now have the pressed one in stock so maybe the loose one will appear soon too.

Seconded on the T LeClerc Donna.IMO it's the best yellow powder about and it lasts ages. The one I've just finished lasted over 12 months and I managed to bag one in Last Clicks a while ago.:21:

Thanks Sazza. As usual I was much too impatient and ordered the aquafusion pressed powder from the States and it actually cost slightly less than the QVC product.
TBH I am now totaly confused with all the different names and brand names that I don't know if the item you found is even the same.

Well if it was Models Prefer you had then that is now called YBF, Models Prefer is no more.

Models prefer, when it first came out, was mostly manufactured in Italy which is basically a factory that also makes stuff for other prestigious brands and it was fairly good quality.
The last stuff that i ordered which was some lipsticks were all manufactured in China. I am sorry to carp on about this but its just not up to standard any more.
Has Stacey changed the name brand because she is having the products made in China and no longer using the same Italian or German companies to produce the stuff ?

YBF isn't owned by Stacey whereas Models Prefer was. She probably has less say in product manufacture and pricing than before. There's a previous thread somewhere with more detailed background: the bust up with QVC US etc.

Have just spotted the Models Prefer pressed yellow powder on beautychamber.co.uk. Delivery is much quicker than QVC. Have used them 3-4 times.
