All credit to AY for having a joke on air about Dale turning 60yrs old and Debbie Flint going back to Ideal World (which got a gasp from the floor crew) , very rarely hear a shopping channel mention one of its rivals.

I saw this and thought it was hilarious! Is there rivalry between AY and DF? Ali put on a look of positive glee when she said about her going back to IW coupled with the energetic wave!

How priceless! wish I had seen that. I have nothing against Debbie but I just love AY's sense of humour. I realise some don't though.

I think this is super! Actually mentioning Ideal. I know people think Alison rather frank. But how many other presenters would have had the guts to mention Ideal World on air. Im not sure the bosses woukd have been too happy with it.
