I would love the presenters to publish what they really use.

Some of them claim to use everything & everything is the best!!!

It would be really nice if they could list their favourites & talk about them honestly.

QVC presenters are exactly that, not genuine, qualified sales personnel. My customers ask me for information about appliances, what is the difference between this laptop, and that one, etc. They will ask me to recommend one, and I have to live by what I say. Shopping telly presenters are not going to say, for example, 'I wouldn't touch gatineau.' They would be alienating customers from the brand. My customers trust me, to tell them the truth, and I sell with integrity. How many viewers actually have faith in QVC presenters, to do this? From opinions on here, not many, it would appear.
If QVC presenters give out false information, the poor folks in customer services have to deal with it. If I, or any colleagues do that, there are consequences; the customer will come into store, and we will have to face them. We have to deal with our own customer issues.
Put a presenter in a retail establishment to sell, and they would be like a deer caught in the headlights.

I am have just switched on to QVC (during commercial on ch. 5 ) and it is gobby Sarah on with that nice jewellery man (can't remember his name)
her facial skin looks really good today. I have never seen her face (only the skin, NOT her features, they are the same,:talking: ) looking so good before
The fresh look stops at the chin, her neck does not look any better than before.
I would like to know what she has been using or using today:mysmilie_10:

They probably don`t use half the stuff they say they do and I bet just like the rest of us they hit the DHS to buy lots of things. I knew someone who worked for Clinique and when she went to work she had to wear 100% Clinique makeup just in case a customer asked her what her lip colour, eye shadow, foundation etc was and it wouldn`t do for her to say oh its Estee Lauder or any other brand. She didn`t use Clinique skincare but used to tell customers she used the 3 step system and when she was at home or socialising she used lots of different brands of makeup too.
If you could be a fly on a presenter`s wall you`d probably find non QVC brands a plenty and the QVC brands they do use would be fewer than they say.

Exactly at the end of the day they are there to sell which ever brand is on in that hour. They will not come out with, oh this is lovely but I actually use XX. Its like in a department store one counter is their to sell their brand not let you buy from the next counter along. I have a friend who worked for a high end French brand yet did not like any of their foundations and used Kanebo. If asked by a customer what she wore, of course it was the French brand's foundation.

I remember some years back Prescriptives appeared on QVC, suddenly Alison Young let slip she had been using the brand and one particular product for years. Never mentioned in all the years before. She is there to sell and will only ever recommend whatever QVC sell though she might be using totally different products in real life.

They will get loads of freebies and all the beauty TSVs given to them to use.

Well according to most presenters they have several items from the Yong Kim and Join clothing range, I wonder whether they actually do or whether they say they do just to try and 'inspire' us when they are trying to flog the overpriced (imo) clothes.

I totally believe Anne Dawson and Debbie Flint - you see them wearing Join and YK frequently. In Anne's case it suits her (most of the time)... in Deb's case it doesn't (in my opinion).

The one presenter who I feel is most genuine with regards to 'flogging' what she buys is Jackie Kabler, as generally the presenters tend to showcase items that they have used/bought etc. Jackie to me seems genuine in what she says she has and you can tell by the enthusiasam in her voice that it is genuine and not 'gushy' like JF or 'The Huntley' or even to a certain extent Chloe Everton. No whilst they may have some of the items (though in JF case I am tipping that she hasn't got any of the items above the 'freebies' that they are allowed so that they can 'test the products', Jackie to me seems to be the only genuine as well as of course the 2 you mention. DF whilst may be 'over egging' in most ways does seem to be genuine with regards to the products that she has and doesn't have. Anne Dawson is seemingly genuine all-round. But like previous posters have said at the end of the day they are professional sales-people and are there 'to flog'!

Wonder if they use any of the highly rated Aldi range? Not that the presenters would dare to be seen in there, probably send the cleaner to buy it!

Jackie K must use whitewash to get that Geisha girl look she sports. It is obvious that she wouldn't demean herself to use anything she is forced to flog on Q.

Del Boy seems to use and wear nothing else but Q products. Maybe she is so obsessed with her sales figures she flogs them to herself. Is she the Q equivalent of 1960's payola.

I agree with your comment on Jackie Kabler. She was on the Join show with Evey the other day and was saying she was a bit hacked off because she'd paid full price for a garment when it was now on OTO price,to which Evey said' but the good thing is, now you can have another colour!' - and I genuinely believe she would have, whereas if JF had said it, I would take it with a huge pinch of salt!

pippa look great and her hair..

Yeah I agree- Pippa and Jackie are two of the most personable and therefore believable presenters, and they're a lot easier on the eye than Kathy ( bag lady) Tayler, Debbie ( get this now) Flint, and Chloe ( one size fits most) Everton!
