OMG!! this onees funny

"Hello I need to speak to a skin specialist for an ongoing problem. Is one available?"

What's funny about that? Isn't Alison Young (the resident beauty presenter) always banging on about getting in touch via Socilal Media and "she'll help" because she is after all an "expert/specialist". Which as we all know is a load of old cobblers, she only advises use of QVC products.......surprise! surprise! :mysmilie_17:

Ah but did they ask for a “qualified” skin specialist ? Yer actual clinically-proven skin specialist ? Dermatologically-tested qualified specialist ? Or did they ask for Alison Young ?

This is the request:

Hello I need to speak to a skin specialist for an ongoing problem. Is one available?

Who ever made that request had obviously seen an hour of Alison Young bigging herself up as usual and not knowing QVC, because let’s be realistic, not everyone knows them inside and out, or would want to, has made that request not knowing AY is a shop assistant.

She's a writer of fanfiction, mainly Dr Who. Everything's green, the colour, not eco & she obviously likes Slytherin (Harry Potter). Under Education she's put The Gallifreyan Academy for Timelords as well as the OU. In my judgemental opinion she's not your average Q customer.

The advice given to her by other posts go to your local department store:mysmilie_17:

Okay, I am not a skincare specialist but, if she is going to fan conventions they dress up and paint their faces all sorts. That might actually be the cause of her skincare problem, allergy because of the green makeup.

Strange but true story. Buddy Epstein(sp) was cast in the Wizard of Oz as the Tin Man but was allergic to the silver paint and had to drop out of the roll. He went on to be in The Beverly Hillbillies, I remember it as my Granny loved the show.

Brilliant! On the other hand I'm now wondering if it was a mischief post & her 'profile' is for her mischief posts.

A man on has said Have QVC looked at the prices on Radley's own website?

And here is QVC's reply:

our aim is to offer our customers good quality products that are competitive with the prices charged by most retail stores and catalogues. However, we do not claim that the prices we charge are the lowest on the market. We would always recommend that you comparison shop for the best overall value. We may be offering a slightly different package to those offered elsewhere and don't forget we have our 30 day money back guarantee! If you have any further questions please contact our Customer Care team at [email protected] Rebecca x

Now they have stated this before about other products but thought it was time to repeat it.

And the man replied quite a few other retailers allow a 30 day more back and free shipping.guarantee:mysmilie_3:

I haven't been able to read QVCs FB page for a few weeks now, because I'm not on Facebook it won't let me, so thanks for the little nuggets. :mysmilie_3:
