I should do that, heaven knows I've got enough pairs, but I find myself reaching for the same few pairs all the time just because they're lying to hand.

Once I bought an apatite ring from QVC in 9ct yellow gold, not a big stone and two little diamonds on each side. Lets just say I was more than shocked when it arrived to find the band was solid!!! Only the basket bit where the stone sits had cuts outs! In fact wore it the other week, still slightly shocked.
