I noticed the annoying "col-bolt" for cobalt and "poker dots" for polka dots the other evening. I think both were from Jilly H.

It's not even plaid/payed anyway (American term for tartan I believe) it's ****** gingham and looks like one of my school summer dresses of yore!

'Coal Bolt' is my own personal hate, they all say it! It drives me mad.

Yes, elderly think 70s up US retired men love to wear plaid. Its not true tartan but base colour then check over the top.
