Watching LR with JF, Niki, Niki's assistant, model Catherine and her mother Jane. All of these can be "excitable " at the best of times but all together laughing like hyenas, in jokes and generally acting like banshees grr!

Could we not have had one sane (male?) person to tone it all down?

They did at lunchtime, Miceal was on. When I saw it was going to be JF tonight I guessed it would be the way it is!

I have only really noticed lately that JF keeps sucking in and gurgling- did she always do this or was the flicking of the hair a distraction (or the tv on mute!)

I meant to post earlier as I saw Nikki and Miceal and felt embarrassed watching them. I've noticed before that Nikki does not seem to like presenting with men, she is rather sharp with them. This time she told Miceal the girls could do the presenting without him, and then went to sit on the sofa with the hyenas. Rude! Now she is all over J b....y Franks, gushing and giggling, heaven help us. She is normally very professional but I see now she has swopped places with the model. Perhaps she needs a holiday.

I love jewellery and always like to see the LR items but TBH it has been 2 hours of purgatory.

These are grown women some 40/50 plus and it is like listening to 14 year olds wetting their knickers over One Direction.

I only watched a little of the show earlier - but they were selling a bracelet and did not even go through the colours, they were too busy talking amongst themselves. Apparently, they are all back tomorrow for the shows. Think I will give them a miss. Years ago I would not have missed a Lola Rose show. Says it all.

I never switched QVC on today, there was nothing on that I wanted to see.

I wasn't keen on this format, either, talk about overkill. Five people, more unnecessary haemorrhaging of money! They're there to talk us through the products and show us the colours, not have a social catch up. :dull: It's a shame as the anniversary shows are my favourite. On the plus side, there were gorgeous products, have had to exercise considerable restraint to only make two purchases so far.

I haven't bought LR for years now. Not a fan of the brass beads she now uses with the stones. So yesterday it was so easy to avoid QVC for me, gardening LR. At one point I had visions of Dicky wearing his LR bracelets whilst mowing the lawn.

I can't stand that Lola Rose guest with her twee voice. The idea of her stuck in a harem of hens is sure to be pretty nigh on unbearable. All those egos - in one studio!

I missed all the Lola Rose shows yesterday. My husband was in all day and we only have the one TV. He can't stand QVC so it's never on when he's in. The one positive is that is saves me money.

All this 'socialising' and chatty insights into their private lives has become worse over the last few months, and wonder if there has been a change of management. Perhaps they're basing themselves on Loose Women, (which I've never watched), and at this rate they'll be haemorrhaging viewers, especially with hours and hours of gardening like yesterday.

I'm beginning to think it might be me (an age thing) as I work in a yummy mummy open plan office and this type of shrieking is becoming more the norm as each older person leaves - it does my head in as it never stops and makes it very hard to concentrate.

Don't really want more of it when I come home for a bit of telly.

I know exactly what you mean. They have no idea how to speak quietly either. Everything has to be shouted out in a loud voice so everyone has to hear regardless of whether you are interested or not. Their kids are generally the worst behaved brats you've ever seen who don't understand or ever get given the word "no."

I watched the later show with JF and I thought it seemed longer than two hours! In days gone by i would have loved watching. Also I know it's a Lola Rose anniversary and they've brought back some older designs but I thought the carved flowers looked dated especially the earrings! Made me think of the Lee Sands days which I hated! sorry?! if anyone loved them but It would be a dull old world if we all liked the same thing!

On another note two of the bracelet's I liked had bad reviews so l didn't bother.

What have other people been buying anything? And what did you think of the new skinny scarves?

I have just put the LR show on and do think they are trying to emulate the loose women sort of show, which is turn off for me to be honest. I did like the look of one of the necklaces but it looked a bit heavy, and I have not really got a spare £50-60 at the moment. I am not keen on the skinny scarf look so do think I will be tempted with them but I did get a normal LR scarf in HOF a couple of months back which was half price and it was very please with it but it was still £20,

It's the fake laughing that gets me (am I being too miserable?!) They are wearing/layering pieces which will add up to well over £100.I have ordered some LE pieces this year but returned them all as I didn't think they justified the price. So will stick to my old favourites.
