Good Lord isn't the woman on often enough with Ultra sun. I can't stand her so won't be watching.

Not remotely interested in watching her anymore than I do now (v little).

Oh no, will she make out now she single handily invented skin care? Will she want you to use it every day? every night? Will it be better than the best cream in the world, Ultrasun? Who knows? Who cares?

What does she actually know about skin care, apart from learning her lines to sell on telly?

I agree, I rush for the off button everytime she appear on my tv...

It will be hard to avoid her though, as she will be popping up in promos for this left right and centre, just like Amanda Holden and the awful Ruth Langsford.

I'm wondering who the manufacturers of this are, the unknown factory/warehouse full of generic products, just waiting for someone's/anyone's label to go on them.

No mention of any SPF in the day products so presumably she can continue to plug Ultrasun alongside "her" range as complementary products.

Has she ever mentioned any actual expertise in the field of skincare apart from telling us about protection from the sun?

Abi's a business woman, the importer of Ultrasun, like Andrew Bagley with Gatineau.

I guess it would be classed as 'good business' and it's not like Q is in the humanitarian game, but I am ****** sick and tired of these greedy so and sos piggy-backing on the overpriced tat they're paid to flog and launching their own brand of overpriced tat. All of which will be snapped up by the poor sappy buggers who'd buy anything Q tells them to.

As AndiK has already noted, no mention of SPF in AC's products (god forbid she dilutes the market she's already paid to flog) so of course these new products of hers will nestle neatly in alongside.

Not sure if it's the threads about Ruth Langsford's and AH's ranges of overpriced tat, but I've got the right hump today!

I never thought she had particularly good skin

SkinSense was launched in Germany in April this year on HSE24 and I was able to try the day cream in a consumer trial. Well, I didn't like it because it made my eyes water and because it had no SPF.

Did Abi present it, Ani? Or was her name at least used?

Presumably it's from the same factory as Judith Williams's gloop... Abi Cleeves used to market the JW range when JW wasn't available. For all the pantomime Lab shots, JW was just a selly telly seller before sticking her name on a label. No doubt AC is just copying the formula. They're both basically marketers who have no real expertise other than pitching a product. As remarked earlier, Abi doesn't have the greatest skin. I do hope she's not pushing it as an anti-aging line..... (And remember, folks, Ultrasun Face is all you need. No need for another facecream according to AC!).

So her products are produced by Cura in Austria?

Well, JW is part of the German version of "Shark Tank" now and owns a small part of the company (Cura). Before coming to sales television, she was an opera singer, like her father. As far as I can see, AC has a different approach to her skincare, she works with a certain "Lamellar" technology that I haven't seen so far in JW's range.

No doubt she has been working with the experts and been involved testing/mixing products in the Labs :mysmilie_13: for years. Must be crowded in them there labs with Lulu, Judith Williams ect stiring big vats of gloop every day

But they don't produce all in Austria, do they?
