Digital traffic alerts - your DriveAssist updates every 60 seconds with information of motorways, A-roads and minor roads. They include congestion, accidents, weather and road closures, and let you know how much of delay you can expect to the minute, possible detours and let you know on the fastest route to take.
Be hands-free - sync your smartphone via Bluetooth to your DriveAssist to make hands-free calls, and receive text messages and calendar reminders on the sat nav display by downloading the free Smartphone Link app.
Lifetime map updates - register your sat nav on the Garmin website and you'll have free software and map updates for the UK and Ireland.
Built-in dash camera - recording your journey, the DriveAssist has an Incident Detection sensor the automatically saves files, with GPS to note down exactly where a collision occurred, so you can play back footage, including a map of your location and where you were at the time of the incident. You can even use it to take images with the Snapshot feature.
