Smashbox Packaging Question

I have a lot of Smashbox in the black 'rubbery' packaging that's gone nasty & sticky.

Am I the only one & has anyone found a way to clean it off or have you just resorted to binning it?

Oh dear. NARS are famous for this. Seems reading forums, rubbing alcohol will clean it.

Or try nail polish remover, but don't use cotton wool not pleasant.
