How to make a top just from off-cuts, doesn’t matter if they are different lengths, just stitch them all together. Not enough fabric for sleeves ? Leave holes and ta-da you have the cold shoulder look. Can’t be bothered getting sleeve lengths right per size ? Put thumb holes in - problem solved.

Catching a bit of NL and they have quite a nice long chunky tunic jumper in a few good colours plus ........ cold shoulders, WTF it’s snowing, it a woolly jumper why why why would you want half your shoulders and arms showing.
