Time to bring in Julia

I don’t often agree with the Arsebookers but there is a current run of posts complaining about lack of information but as per usual Liamx, Rachelx are deafening in their lack of response.

There is none so blind as those who do not want to see.

Giving Julia her due, she seems the last hold-out of giving customers the courtesy of providing relevant information in a timely manner. For all the reasons already outlined, this is still an essential requirement: for customers who find it hard to get garments that fit them; for customers who are visually challenged; for customers not on the internet. QVC don't seem to want to give their actual customer base what they need to shop with the Q. They would rather chase after customers who will only shop with Q when it suits them. Admittedly the Q customer who doesn't comparison shop is a dwindling breed, but they are numerous enough, surely, to make it worthwhile to give the info they need. Let's not forget, amid the exhortations to call Liverpool for the info, QVC have been cutting the number of staff there, and giving them the same cr@ppy level of information they put on the fairly useless website.

'Someone somewhere needs to take a grip on the presenters, and say shape up or ship out'. The grip would preferably be on the shoulder & the words would be said with that hiss of a pantomime baddy. Next thing would be the walk of shame as those who couldn't or wouldn't shape up left the building.

Looking forward to the Ruth Langsford show with Julia, any minute now!

That show was a struggle. Ruth is queen bee on that show and she and Julia had no chemistry. Bring back Jackie Kabler! She and Ruth manage an entertaining hour or two. By contrast Julia was constantly trying to get the upper hand by moving them onto the next item, sucking all the fun out of the show... And referring anyone interested in the Grace cold shoulder top to ring Liverpool for the sizing! The also "accidentally" began reading out a complimentary text except it was apparently complimenting her not Ruth. Ouch! This managed to bring out the worst rather than the best of Julia. I bet she won't be working with Ruth again...
